Name That Transfer!!!

So we have a lot of fans that have been following George Mason Basketball for a long time now. We also have some new followers. So I thought I would give everyone a chance to test there George Mason trivia. So i thought of the idea of NAME THAT TRANSFER!!! There will be 5 descriptions of past GMU ballers that have transferred out. Who can name them all?

ps- dont scroll down too far because the answers are at the bottom (no peaking)

WHO ARE THEY?

1) This transfer I met on my visit to Mason, but by the time I got to the school was already gone. He was skilled guard, funny as hell, and played very well at his new school.

2) This player is 1 of my close friends. From Maryland, he played the wing. Came into college as a specialty of stroking the 3 ball but showed his freakish athletism. He could make anyone laugh and easily got along with everyone. Also known for slipping in the shower and dislocating his shoulder

3) This player is the true deifnition of a clown. Loved to make others laugh. Born in Lakeland Fla, and i have been playing against him since around age 12. A 6'7 small/power forward with god given athletic abilities that most can only dream of. He is the only player since I've been at Mason to keep up with me with dunks in a season.

4) This transfer was 1 of the most skilled players I'vew ever played with. 6'11 pure shooter from Romania. Very Dirk like game. Very cool dude off the court, and an pure scorer on the court. The school he transfered too was in the DMV area and he made his team 10 times better.

5) this player hails from Roanoke and is proud of his country ways. A fan favorite at Mason, he had 2 solid seasons at Mason before he decided to leave to pursue his dreams in the big east. He taught me how to golf a little and threw me a lot of alley- oops

6) This transfer came in with my class as a walk on out of Miami Florida. He quickly earned the respect of his team with his skills and was the biggest fan favorite from the crowd. There probably wasnt a home game the fans didnt cheer his name and when he did get in he would knock down 3 after 3 sending the building in a frenzy!

thats the line up. Some are easy and some most of you wont get even with the answers right below this. With that being said here's the scale

CONTROL

You ever notice how quickly you can lose control?
One minute everything is perfect, the next chaos. Well that’s how basketball goes.
Each possession, each run, each half, each game...
And ask Mason fans...the off season brings more of the same.
I admit the season was crazy this year
Italy, long win streak, and when we beat Villanova the whole world cheered

But it’s crazy how quickly you can lose control
My man Luke got sick and vs. Ohio State.. who thought we would fold?
Then came Coach L and the rest taking their talents to South Beach
Were in Fairfax and there in Miami but I was feeling the Heat
nothing but love, understood the decision to go
I just hoped my new leader would be another great coach
When I heard Paul Hewitt things started looking bright again
But then skywalka had a decision to make...this not just my teammate this my main man
We already lost whack...damn 2 of my best friends
But they did what’s best for them, and I told the whole team to do that
We all will be wishing each other luck and that’s a fact
Fans getting mad bcuz people chose to leave
I say let them live they life..they did what’s best for them just like I did what’s best for me

I learned a long time ago don’t worry about what you can’t control
Good things happen too...wait until u see the kid Anali go.
Sherrod is back plus them 3 freshmen boys have arrived
Add V Vaughns, B Allen, Paris, 2 John’s.. they all are ready to thirve
Dre’s going to dominate and Ryan is MVP
Add me in the equation and that’s a very hungry three
The sky is not the limit past the stars is our goal
When the season start this group of men are going to ball out of control

Motivation

It’s crazy how motivation can be found in different places. Sometimes motivation comes from positive situations. Positive moments.  Someone may do or say something to motivate another. Well look deeper into motivation and you will see there’s no better motivation than the negative. When you deserve something that has been snatched from you. When you were already  motivated and worked for what you wanted to be overlooked as though they didn’t see those blood sweat and tears.
Watching what they call a “Draft” for motivation because next year that’s where I want to be.Started out ok...when it ended it had me thinking “Is this where I want to be?” Ok the top International players probably deserved to go, but near the end I just didn’t no anymore. Calling guys names that I cant spell and average 0.7 points per game, instead of picking college players with some real game? Then it hit me that there was a loop hole in the system. Picking players overseas they know they won’t ever see and never have to pay, but us college players are the victims. I watched Vlad take American and turn them into a solid team. I watched Skeen take his team on a run that I only dreamed. I watched Austin play on an All American level, still don’t know how he didn’t go..especially when pick 56 and 57 was Chukwudiebere Maduabum and Targuy Ngombo. But none worse than watching the leader of my team name not come across the board. Ive seen clutch shot, great leadership, hard work, and those blood sweat and tears over the years. Defense? He got that. Offense? Have you seen the kid!? Size for his position? Got that too. Couldn’t help but look at the board at some of those names and think “Cam will kill him smh”. Even thought to myself if theguy I’ve followed for 3 years can’t make it..how can I?
Before I went to sleep I saw a tweet from my boy. “Don’t  worry bout me guys im great  if ur wondering. Imma b the under dog comin out of nowhere #ballin” At that moment I couldn’t help but think that he was in his truck on the way to the gym.  That’s when It hit me..as hard as he worked before..that motivation jus grew even more. It’s far from over.. they just created a MONSTER! Maybe a few..counting him and me..they created atleast  2!!!
